SALAD TIME....

I love salads also try to have one with every meal , i also try to bring in many veges so as to enhance the nutrition value. so far i have been making the traditional Indian salads like the Raita or the Koshambir (as we call it in marathi) which have a garnish of lemon juice and coriander or with yogurt.

But i have been desperatly waiting to try out some new types of salads which use salad dressings ,which are readily available in the market .
This is my first try at a salad of this kind , i hope you like it ...

RED CABBAGE AND CARROT SALAD.
so simple...
Shred cabbage and carrot in juliennes (you can add finely sliced onions and peppers too but, I haven’t).
mix in salt and garlic and herb dressing.
That’s it the salad is ready to eat.

The colors in pictures are so vibrant. It makes your salads look like you can reach out and touch (or eat) right off the computer screen. I think I'll be making Red Cabbage and Carrot Salad tomorrow. Thanks for sharing.
