I love salads also try to have one with every meal , i also try to bring in many veges so as to enhance the nutrition value. so far i have been making the traditional Indian salads like the Raita or the Koshambir (as we call it in marathi) which have a garnish of lemon juice and coriander or with yogurt.
But i have been desperatly waiting to try out some new types of salads which use salad dressings ,which are readily available in the market .
This is my first try at a salad of this kind , i hope you like it ...
RED CABBAGE AND CARROT SALAD.
Shred cabbage and carrot in juliennes (you can add finely sliced onions and peppers too but, I haven’t).
mix in salt and garlic and herb dressing.
That’s it the salad is ready to eat.
