FOOD AT SINHAGAD....

THE DELICIOUS VILLAGE FOOD THAT WE HAD AT SINHAGAD

whenever you go to some remote place the food too is different from what we regularly have.

I love to have the robust food which fills you up , is nutritious and specially made fresh in front of you.

THIS LADY IS MAKING FRESH BHAKRIS OR JOWAR CHAPATIS FOR US

PITHLE BEING COOKED ON THE "CHULL" OR STOVE

BHAKRI IS READY TO BE EATEN.

SHACKS WHERE THE FOOD IS MADE

Sweet curd, Buttermilk, Kanda bhaji and Pithle-Bhakari of Sinhagad are the main attraction for the tourists who visit this gad .
If you know me by now, you should know that I never miss out on an opportunity to eat the local food and although this food was very very basic I wanted to taste and relish it in its surroundings ,and I was glad I did so.Although the food was very simple , it was yummy we had our khada bhaji {onion fritters} , Pithle-Bhakari {vegetable made with chick pea or besan flour and onions } and lots of fresh dahi or curds.

Have you drank water from Devtaake on Sinhgad ? The chilled minarel water from natural source. Very delicious. Ultimate for the thirsty. Nowhere in India one can get such water.

I am sorry if you have missed out. A fresh trip for Devtaake is worth
